It's been a great day today.

Had a promotion-cum-farewell dinner at Garden Cafe at Phoenix Hotel. The food there is quite alright, but my main concern is, how many NSFs upon ORD gets a farewell dinner? I love RSAF. The promotion part is for my CO and an FAC instructor, who got promoted to LTC and MAJ respectively... The whole squadron got a treat! Then again, the total cost of the dinner is not even 5% of their pay... imagine how much these pilots are paid!

Was on the topic of "nice guys" with some of my friends, and we came to a common conclusion. Nice guys finishes last. So no point being nice to everyone, where you'll be taken for granted. Been there, done that, regretted that. Trust me.

On a lighter note, found out that NUS is selling the Fujitsu T3010(the one i'm eyeing) at $2988+, where SMU is selling theirs at $2568+. The difference?
